Here are the 2021 Iowa boys’ basketball state tournament brackets

The Iowa boys’ basketball state tournament is here.

Well, almost. Right around the corner.

Action kicks off with the Class 1A quarterfinals next Monday morning at Wells Fargo Arena and lasts until the four state title games on Friday. Class 3A and Class 4A wrapped up their substates on Tuesday night, and the Iowa High School Athletic Association released the state tournament brackets later that night.

Here are those state tournament brackets:

Class 4A

No. 1 Cedar Falls (19-0) vs. No. 8 Dubuque Senior (11-8), 12 p.m. Wednesday

No. 4 Johnston (10-4) vs. No. 5 Dowling Catholic (11-8), 10 a.m., Wednesday

No. 2 Waukee (13-2) vs. No. 7 Pleasant Valley (18-3), 4 p.m. Wednesday

No. 3 Ames (17-3) vs. No. 6 Council Bluffs Lincoln (19-4), 2 p.m. Wednesday

Class 3A

No. 1 Ballard (23-1) vs. No. 8 Clear Lake (21-2), 2 p.m., Tuesday

No. 4 Dallas Center-Grimes (20-3) vs. No. 5 Davenport Assumption (18-6), 4 p.m., Tuesday

No. 2 Pella (22-2) vs. No. 7 Monticello (22-0), 8 p.m., Tuesday
